Goods out of an insolvency are almost always cheaper than the same goods from a dealer, for a simple reason: the trustee has to turn the estate into money and has no time to wait for the best price. Against that stands the fact that you buy it as it is. There is no guarantee and no return.
So come to the viewing day. You cannot judge what you are buying from a photo, and an hour's drive is cheaper than a bad buy.
Bear in mind that you load it yourself and that you can only come on the collection day. Count the buyer premium and the VAT into your bid: the percentage is on every auction and on every lot, so nothing catches you out.
